Who we are
The Grazing Table originated from a love of sharing platters and joy of banquet style celebration catering. I’ve worked in the hospitality industry in Edinburgh for the last 10 years and have lots of experience with catering for large venues. Also part of the team are some of my most trusted friends, who own their own successful restaurant and come with another wealth of knowledge and expertise.
I was driven to start The Grazing Table after searching for catering for my own wedding only to be faced with some monotonous suggestions, over pricing and a corporate delivery of the produce.
For me celebration catering should be personal, plentiful and luscious! So that is what we aim to provide. With Scotland’s great bounty of ingredients, we try to keep our menus seasonal and local wherever possible. Our style of catering is sharing based, whether that’s providing a big table for your guests to help themselves to, or sharing boards for each table. The emphasis is on sharing and for us that only adds to the occasion, more chances for your guests to socialise and interact. By doing this we’re also able to work from a small team and therefore give a more reasonable and affordable quote, so why not get in touch for a meet up to chat about your event and share some ideas.
